Measure office energy consumption in real time

Level 1 is the implementation of the BBS Energy Manager 16 Channel, which is a DB board mountable smart meter that is designed to be easily installed into the main incoming energy feed of a building. It is designed to be used as part of a BBS Energy Manager solution and is ideally suited for use within an office environment. Live reporting of energy usage is broken down into sections such as lighting, heating, PC's and peripheral electronic equipment. The Energy Manager will provide highly accurate and detailed information such as energy used, money spent and carbon emmisions produced, which means organisations can begin to become more aware of where excess energy is being wasted and make more informed decisions in trying to reduce it.

The Energy Manager will generate projected savings based on wasted energy used after hours and will advise accordingly on what to do. Other features include an employee behavioural change system, which carries out tasks automatically such as sending out an email to a supervisor/administator listing all devices left on over night when they should not have been, giving a breakdown of wasted energy, cost and unneccessary carbon emmisions expelled. An email will additionally be sent out to the employee responsible for not carrying out the task of switching equipment off (e.g. lights) reminding them to switch off next time, as well as providing the waste information.
