Level 3 is the introduction of peripheral electronic device switching and monitoring. Our specialised smart sockets are fitted on electronic office equipment such as printers, photo-copiers and vending machines in order to allow for automated switch off outside of working hours. Each of the BBS Professional Smart Sockets has a two way radio system built into it that enables it to exchange information with the Bye Bye Standby Energy Manager that allows you to control the socket and measure what is power is being drawn by the unit. This peripheral electronic equipment is usually the most energy sapping equipment in an office, and is also almost always left on overnight wasting massive amounts of energy and money as well as shortening the lifespan of the equipment. This equipment can also be monitored, allowing for more informed decisions to be made when next purchasing more energy efficient office equipment.
