[edit] Zone Controller Configuration
- Plug zone controller into the network
- Plug in the power
- Far right green light comes on
- The far left comes on then goes off 4 times. It is in programming mode looking for a network connection.
- Once addressed both far left lights flash quickly and one of the far left lights may stay on. Depending on the clock speed of the controller it may take up to 60 seconds for process.
- Go to browser and go Admin -> Controller Functions.
- Highlight with the mouse pointer the Enable Controllers
- Go to the controller and press the button on the back
- The lights should flash quickly
- Press the Enable Controllers on the browser
- If successful the lights stop flashing on the controller
- You should do this within 15 seconds of pressing the button on the back of the controller
- This process takes place for each controller you want to add to the system.
- To check if you have been successful go to the browser and Management -> Controllers and your newly added controller should show with its IP address and the last digits of the MAC address should tie up with that on the bottom of the controller
- If not successful go back through the process again
- When siting the controller ensure it is not too close to electrical devices as it may limit its range.
